The owner of an Edinburgh driving school is delighted with the city-visitor website, saying it keeps him at the top of the major search engines.
“I am absolutely delighted with city-visitor, “ said Gavin Brownlie, adding: “I check the major search engines every day and city-visitor is always in the top five listings and is very often in number one position. I can’t ask for more than that.”
Gavin said he had got his fingers burnt with advertising over the years and felt as though he had thrown money away. This was not the case with city-visitor.
“I decided last year that my advert in Yellow Pages was not worth the money I was paying for it and looked into ways of getting my business listed on the search engines. I started with a free listing on city-visitor and then upgraded to an enhanced listing. The price was right and it has certainly worked for me.”
During the month of January this year – a notoriously quiet time for the trade, Gavin said he got six phone call enquiries from the Internet, while only one call came through Yellow Pages.
“From the Internet calls I converted two into customers, which is fantastic for me. I would certainly recommend city-visitor.”
