It’s now the longest running American
musical ever to play in the West End, and Chicago continues
to pull in the crowds at the Cambridge Theatre. Based
on real events in 1920’s Chicago, this musical has murder,
greed, corruption and adultery on the menu displayed in
a fabulous mix of mesmerising music, catchy songs and
fantastic dance routines. The show tells the story of
nightclub singer Roxie Hart as she fights to keep from
death row after killing her lover. Along the way she meets
her cell block rival, Velma Kelly, and smooth–talking
lawyer Billy Flynn, who creates a media spin to turn them
into top–billing celebrities.
